Inching close to its launch at Thailand, the 2017 Honda City Facelift has been spied in India finally during an advertisement shoot. The car will be launched at Thailand on January 12th and has been spied inside out on a number of occasions by now. However, with the car undergoing an advertisement shoot; it is evident that Honda is gearing to launch the car in Indian market very soon. There have been reports stating that the City facelift might be launched in India this month itself, however, Honda is yet to disclose any date or tease the imminent launch.
The facelift has undergone the maximum change in the form of the all new LED headlights in the top end variants with LED DRLS in all of them. The front grill with Honda logo is much bolder than the present and has a thicker chrome garnish. The car also gets a re-design to the front and rear mudguards with new fog lamps and a 16 inch wheel design as well. The tail lights get new graphics and led lights and a new spoiler for the facelift.
The engines on offer should remain the same with the 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engine that makes 120Ps@6600rpm and a peak torque rating of 145Nm@4600rpm. The Diesel unit will also continue to be the much famous, 1.5L i-DTEC engine capable of 100Ps.However, this time around we are expecting the 6-Speed manual to replace the present 5-Speed unit on the petrol variant of the 2017 Honda City Facelift.
