Volkswagen’s new Polo Highline Plus likely to be priced at Rs 7.24 lakh

A new top-of the range Volkswagen Polo has been introduced by the carmaker in India recently under the name Polo Highline Plus at a price of Rs 7.24 lakh for the 75hp, 1.2-litre petrol model and Rs 8.78 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 90hp, 1.5-litre diesel variant.

The new Highline Plus will feature an improvised infotainment system, new 16-inch alloy wheels and a reverse camera in addition to the standard equipment list of the outgoing Polo Highline. However, the LED headlamps that made their way on the recently launched Vento Highline Plus, will remain absent from the new Highline Plus Polo.

The vehicle will continue to compete against the likes of Hyundai i20, Maruti Baleno and Honda Jazz in the market
