The Ingolstadt-based carmaker is betting big on its RS range. After introducing the RS5 and RS7, the company launched the RS6 Avant in India. The RS6 Avant is basically the estate version of the popular A6 sedan. Just so you know, it is the only performance-oriented estate model available in India.
The RS6 Avant looks aggressive with a wider body and distinct front and rear ends. Trademark RS styling elements are clearly visible on the exterior styling such as aluminium mirror caps and huge twin oval exhaust pipes. Also on offer are the matte aluminium and carbon appearance packages that include large Quattro badge up front, which splits the "Single-frame" grille. The RS6 model features a slim headlight design and simple, yet attractive tail lamps. Up front, the Avant has ultra-thin LED daytime lights and Audi's new Matrix LED headlights, which are offered as standard. These lights offer a greater level of forward vision in nights without troubling other motorists. On sides, the performance estate gets large wheel arches, side sills and acoustic glazing across all windows. Inside the cabin, the RS6 Avant gets a trademark RS treatment with a flat-bottom steering wheel, an 8,000rpm tachometer and RS logos all around. The MMI system now features a brand new Nvidia Tegra 30 graphics chip, which makes the navigation and other infotainment functions faster. Moreover, these also bring new features to infotainment. The high-resolution Driver Information System in the centre of the instrument cluster displays vehicle information and map-based navigation display.
